Ju Hua are fully bloomed chrysanthemum flowers, long celebrated in Chinese herbal tradition. With their bright yellow colour and floral scent, the blossoms make a fragrant infusion with a smooth, slightly sweet flavour.
This is one of the most familiar herbal drinks in Chinese tradition. Ju Hua can be enjoyed on its own or as part of a blend, hot or cold, and the flowers also work in cooking.
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Flowers lose their aroma faster than roots or seeds, so an airtight jar is worth using once the pack is open.
