Ideal for those chilly months, this Winter warmer is a perfect companion to have by your side as you snuggle up on the sofa.
Ingredients

30g dried prepared Chinese foxglove root

1/4 cup dried green mung beans

1/4 cup dried coix seeds

3-4 slices dried liquorice root
10 cups water
1/2 cup raw sugar (white/brown your choice)
Directions
Rinse all ingredients under running water to remove residue.
Combine all herbs into a large pot and add the 10 cups of water.
Cover the pot, and place over a high heat for around 15 minutes.
After this time, lower the heat to medium-low for a further 30 minutes.
Once this time has elapsed, remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
Next, strain the tea into a fresh bowl.
Allow the tea to cool for 1 minute.
Serve and enjoy!
