Chuan Xiong is the dried rhizome of Ligusticum chuanxiong, known in English as Szechuan Lovage Rhizome. Sourced using DaoDi principles, this product is prepared from authentic regions of origin and is closely associated with the traditional Liver, Gallbladder, and Pericardium meridians.
The name itself points to its origin: "Chuan" refers to Sichuan, the province long regarded as the herb's true home and the region that gives the best material its reputation. The rhizome is knotted and heavy, and it carries one of the strongest aromas in the dispensary range, noticeable as soon as the pack is opened.
